Manitoba-Bred Horses At Western Fair Raceway

Western Fair Raceway will host another exciting night of racing Tuesday evening and a few Manitoba-bred horses are set to draw in.

The first up will be Another Great Pick (Charms Shark-Uncovered-Albert Albert) who draws post position two. The 12-year-old gelding was bred by Justin Rey of St. Claude, Manitoba, and is looking for his second straight win. His last start was on New Year’s Eve and he won in the time 1:58.0. Another Great Pick is currently sitting at odds of 10-1 and is entered in the seventh race.

The next Manitoba-bred enter is Racemup (Whatayasay-Logicallyinclined-Shark Gesture) and he draws post position three in the eighth race. The 7-year-old gelding also was bred out of St. Claude Manitoba by Arthur Rey. Racemup has made three straight fourth-place finishes. His last win came on December 12th, 2021 was at Rideau Carleton Raceway, and won in the time of 1:55.0. Racemup has 4-1 morning line odds at winning the Preferred 3 race.

Drivelikeustoleit (In the Irons-Major Story-Art Major) draws the eighth post position in the card’s finale. The 4-yeard-old gelding is looking to start 2022 off on the right hoof and get his first win of the year. Drivelikeustoleit’s lifetime mark of 2:00.4 happened at Miami Fair in the 2021 season. He currently sits at 8-1 morning-line odds and has to come from the far outside post to overcome the field. Drivelikeustoleit was bred by Kayla and Chase Rey.
