Manitoba Looking to “Fair” Better

The Manitoba-bred horses that were entered Tuesday evening at Western Fair Raceway did not fare as well as many would have hoped. The best finish was by Racemup (Whatayasay-Logicallyinclined-Shark Gesture) who finished fourth in race eight. Another Great Pick (Charms Shark-Uncovered-Albert Albert) landed himself in sixth place and Drivelikeustoleit (In the Irons-Major Story-Art Major) finished sixth as well.

More Manitoba-bred horses will be in action Wednesday evening at Western Fair Raceway and will hope to do much better than their fellow Manitobans did Tuesday. The 2021 Manitoba Great Western Stake and Silk Lace Stake winner Millies Million (Armbro Baylor-Untold Millions-Dealer Takes All) will draw in the fourth race. The 4-year-old mare is looking for her first win of 2022 and will have to overcome some talented competition to do so. She currently sits at morning line odds of 10-1 and is one of the longshots on the board. Millies Million was bred by Darryl and Sherri Mason and was owned by Richard Rey in 2021 when she won the Silk Lace Stake and Manitoba Great Western Stake. She is currently owned by Glenboro, Manitoba native, Travis Cullen and is trained by his mother, Jody Cullen.

Release The Baby (Playboy Killean-Flight Delay-Jeremes Jet) has the best morning line odds of any of the Manitoba-bred horses entered in Wednesday’s card. She currently sits at 5-2 odds and will have to try to beat the betting favorite, A Sham Of Amber (Riverboat King-Katys Little Lady-Cambest) who comes out of the inside post position. Release The Baby is another St. Claude product and was also bred by Arthur Rey.
